Equine Insurance Products

Equine Mortality Insurance
Mortality Insurance provides cover for your horse's fair market value in the event of death or humane destruction due to an insured event.
It also includes limited theft cover and transits within New Zealand and Australia.

Major Medical & Vet Fees
Major Medical extension provides cover for veterinary costs for the diagnosis and treatment of illness or injury.
We can also offer a basic cover which includes Emergency Life-Saving Surgical Cover only that provides cover for emergency surgical procedures required to save your horse's life, subject to the policy terms and conditions.

Stallion Infertility
Stallion Infertility Cover provides protection against the financial loss resulting from permanent infertility caused by an accident, illness, or disease.
First-year stallion infertility cover may also be available on request.

International Transit
International Transit Cover provides protection for your horse while travelling outside New Zealand and Australia.

Care Custody & Control
Care, Custody and Control Cover provides protection for stud owners and professional caretakers responsible for horses they do not own, including horses in their care, custody, or control for breeding, training, handling, or management purposes, subject to the policy terms and conditions.
